TelleScope Community Terms and Conditions

Version 1.0 · Last updated 18 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and TelleScope (“TelleScope”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of the TelleScope Community, including tellescope.org, www.tellescope.org, api.tellescope.org, academy.tellescope.org, and related dashboards, APIs, and learning tools (together, the “Services”). By creating an account, browsing, enrolling, posting, applying, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

TelleScope is a community platform based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We provide tools for talent, businesses, trainers, and learners to create profiles, find work and training, post jobs, request services, and use career and academy features.
TelleScope is a technology platform. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, we are not your employer, recruiter of record, staffing agency, educational accreditor, or a party to any employment, consulting, or training contract you form with another user.

2. Eligibility and account types

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
The Services support distinct account types. You must choose the type that matches how you use TelleScope:
Talent — individual professionals seeking work, learning, career tools, and related features
Company / business — organisations posting jobs, reviewing applicants, listing services, and using RFQs or the business hub
Trainer — individuals applying to deliver training in the educational community, subject to our approval
If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms. Company accounts may be required to complete verification (including trade-licence and supporting documents) before certain features are available.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for your username, password, and for activity under your account, including activity through Google, Facebook, or Apple sign-in.
Keep your credentials confidential and notify us promptly at support@tellescope.org if you suspect unauthorised access.
We may refuse, suspend, or close an account if we reasonably believe these Terms, our policies, or the law have been violated, or if information is false or incomplete.
You may delete your TelleScope account from dashboard settings. Deletion removes data we control as described in the Privacy Policy. It does not automatically cancel a Stripe subscription or an academy (LearnWorlds) account, and it cannot unsend materials another user has already received.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful, professional purposes. You must not:
Create fake, impersonating, or misleading profiles, jobs, RFQs, or trainer applications
Post discriminatory, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or illegal content
Upload documents or personal data you do not have the right to share (including another person’s CV, identity document, or trade licence)
Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract profiles, contact details, or job data except through features we expressly provide
Circumvent paywalls, subscription gates, rate limits, or security controls
Introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with the Services
Use talent or company contact details obtained on TelleScope for spam or unrelated marketing
Misrepresent verification, “golden” profile status, certificates, or affiliations
We may remove content, limit visibility, or suspend accounts to protect the community. We are not obliged to monitor all activity, but we may review materials submitted for verification, jobs, applications, and support.

5. Your content and licence

You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, CVs, job posts, proposals, messages, images, videos, and similar “User Content”). You grant TelleScope a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt (for formatting), and share that User Content as needed to operate the Services — including showing public profiles to other members, delivering applications to hiring companies, and displaying approved trainer or company listings.
You represent that your User Content is accurate, that you have all rights needed to grant this licence, and that it does not infringe others’ rights. Profile visibility settings (public, limited, or private) control how widely talent and trainer profiles are shown, but do not override sharing that is inherent to a feature you use (for example, sending an application to a company).
You can edit or delete much of your User Content in the product. Copies already delivered to other users, cached files, and backups may persist for a limited time as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Talent, jobs, and companies

Marketplace role

TelleScope helps talent and companies find each other. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, placements, or that any company or candidate is suitable, licensed, or solvent. Any employment or contracting relationship is solely between the talent and the company.

Applications

When you apply to a job, the company receives your application, cover letter, and résumé, and may add internal notes. Companies must use applicant data only for recruitment related to that opportunity, in line with applicable privacy and employment laws. TelleScope is not responsible for a company’s hiring decisions or how it stores a résumé after download.

Job posts and verification

Companies are responsible for the accuracy and legality of job posts (including salary, location, and equal-opportunity statements). Company verification by TelleScope staff is a review of submitted documents; it is not a warranty of the company’s standing, products, or behaviour.

External jobs

Some listings are sourced from third-party feeds (including Coresignal) and may link to LinkedIn, Indeed, or other sites. Those jobs, apply links, and employers are not controlled by TelleScope. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you leave our Services. We may use your role, location, skills, and seniority to personalise which external jobs we show; we do not send your CV to that feed provider.

7. RFQs and business hub

Companies may publish requests for quote, service listings, and related messages. Matching scores and notifications are decision-support tools, not a guarantee of fit or award. Proposals, prices, and delivery commitments are between the companies involved. TelleScope is not a party to those commercial contracts and does not escrow funds unless a specific paid escrow product is offered to you in writing.

8. Trainers

Trainer applications are reviewed by TelleScope. Approval, rejection, or later revocation is at our discretion. You must submit accurate qualifications and, where requested, identity documents solely for verification. A public trainer profile does not make you an employee or exclusive contractor of TelleScope.
If you deliver training through the community, you are responsible for the quality, legality, and intellectual property of your materials, and for any separate agreement with learners or TelleScope.

9. Academy, programs, and workshops

Catalog items (training programs, skill programs, and workshops) and enrollments (name, email, phone, country) are used to administer seats and access. Prices, currencies (including AED or USD), and availability may change. Completing a program does not guarantee employment or a specific salary.
Courses hosted on academy.tellescope.org are delivered through our learning platform (LearnWorlds). Additional LMS terms, checkout, and refund rules on that site may apply to academy purchases. Learner progress and certificates may be synced back to TelleScope so you can see them in the dashboard.

10. Career tests, Check CV, and AI tools

Career tests (including guest sessions), career-path questionnaires, Check CV / ATS reviews, and similar tools are informational. They are not professional career counselling, psychological diagnosis, legal advice, or a hiring decision. Results may be imperfect, especially when based on AI models such as those provided by OpenAI.
You are responsible for the text and files you submit to these tools. Do not upload confidential data you are not allowed to share. Guest career-test sessions are stored under a session ID until you claim them by signing in. Free use of some tools may be limited (for example, a limited number of career-test sessions unless you hold an active Talent subscription).

11. Talent subscription, payments, and refunds

Talent plan

Talent accounts may subscribe to a monthly paid plan (currently advertised at USD 10 per month) billed through Stripe. Features may include expanded dashboard access, personalised job opportunities, AI tools, résumé reviews, program discounts, and workshop access, as described at checkout. We may change included features with reasonable notice.

Billing

Payment is processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe, not stored as full PAN data by TelleScope.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can manage or cancel through the billing portal in the dashboard (Stripe).
If you cancel, access typically continues until the end of the current paid period. Failed payments may result in loss of paid features.
Taxes, currency conversion, and Stripe fees may apply. Prices shown exclude amounts Stripe or your bank may add.

Refunds

Paid digital subscriptions and enrollments are generally non-refundable once the billing period or access has started, except where required by applicable consumer law or where we state otherwise at checkout. Academy purchases follow the refund rules of academy.tellescope.org / LearnWorlds. Company wallet deposits, payouts, and invoices follow the status shown in the product and any written invoice terms. Chargebacks initiated in bad faith may lead to account suspension.

Company billing

Company wallets, tokenised payment methods, transactions, payout requests, and invoices (including banking details you provide) are used only to operate business billing on the platform. You must ensure banking information is accurate. We may freeze a wallet if we reasonably suspect fraud or a legal requirement to do so.

12. TelleScope intellectual property

The Services, including software, design, trademarks, course frameworks we publish, question banks, and documentation, are owned by TelleScope or our licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Services for your internal professional or business purposes in line with these Terms. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or frame the Services except as allowed by law.

13. Third-party services

The Services rely on third parties, including Amazon Web Services, Google, Meta, Apple, Stripe, OpenAI, Coresignal, LearnWorlds, and Microsoft Clarity. Their terms apply to their processing. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or acts of those providers beyond what the law requires of us as a platform operator.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TELLESCOPE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job matches, AI outputs, verification badges, or career-test results will meet your expectations or produce any particular outcome.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TELLESCOPE AND ITS DIRECTORS, STAFF, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR FROM INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TELLESCOPE FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited under UAE law, including for fraud or personal injury caused by our negligence where such exclusion is forbidden.

16. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless TelleScope from claims, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your User Content, your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights — including disputes between talent and companies, or between companies on an RFQ.

17. Suspension, changes, and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services, including paid features. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Services at any time and delete your account as described above. Sections that by nature should survive (including licences already exercised, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal data, including cookies, AI tools, payments, and international transfers. By using the Services you acknowledge that Policy. Where consent is required for a specific processing activity, we will request it in the product or at the point of collection.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Dubai, UAE, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of these Terms or the Services, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or the community. Mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in your country of residence are not overridden where the law does not allow it.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Services or the law change. The “Last updated” date will change and the new version will be posted on this page. If a change is material, we may also notify you by email or in the product. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services and may delete your account.

21. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and TelleScope regarding the Services.
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a reorganisation or sale of the business.
The English version of these Terms controls if there is a conflict with a translation, except where local law requires otherwise.
